NCL Inovates with Freestyle Cruising
Sep 25th, 2006 by Hawaii Cruiser
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced that it will be investing $2.8 billion in building 3 new cruise ships. NCL has seen tremendous growth in past years with its investment in 3 Hawaii cruise ships. They have also inovated the industry by offering freestyle cruising making cruising less structured by allowing you to chose what you want to do and where you want to eat.
The 3 cruise ships operated by NCL in Hawaii are The Pride of America, The Pride of Aloha and The Pride of Hawaii cruise ships. Read our NCL Hawaii cruise reviews for more information on NCL cruise packages in Hawaii.

I just got back from the Pride of Hawaii, the islands were wonderful but the cruise was a joke. Freestyle dining was a joke. Understaffed and lacking in service. Try getting into the restaruants, it was almost impossible and when you try to talk to someone for help they acted like they could care less that you couldn’t get into the restaurants. Everyone that we talked to on the ship was unhappy. I would never recommend this particular cruise to anyonone.
I had the same experience as Terri. Our cruise date was 12-17-07 thru 12-24-07. We had several other passengers who felt the same. I complained to our travel agent and I am writting a letter to NCL. Lot of good now - after the money is spent. The excursions were great and the excursion staff were wonderful (they are employed by NCL but they were the only ones that were professional). I would never cruise with NCL again.
