Norwegian Cruise Line has become the unofficial Hawaii cruise line, and deservedly so. With their armada of three cruise ships sailing the Hawaiian Islands, NCL hopes its passengers will fall in love with this tropical paradise as quickly as they have.

Freestyling On A NCL Hawaii Cruise
Norwegian Cruise Line’s “Freestyle Cruising” is as relaxed and casual as island life. Passengers can choose among a wide variety of Hawaiian activities doing what they want when they please. For example, you can everything or do nothing; dress up for dinner or remain in shorts; sing Karaoke or dance under the stars: sleep late or workout early at the gym; enjoy adventures from port or remain onboard. All the cruise ships have multiple restaurants, bars and lounges. Norwegian Cruise Line works hard to provide excellent entertainment like full-scale Broadway musicals, live bands, piano bars, and DJ-run discos. Steiner-run Mandara Spas offer luxe treatments at not so luxe prices. The fitness centers are also excellent.
Norwegian Cruise Line built its cruise ships to have as much of a Hawaiian feel onboard as on shore. In fact, children and adults for that matter can join a variety of onboard cultural activities and classes like hula lessons and impromptu Hawaiian language sessions. The libraries, game rooms, Ping-Pong, art auctions, and Hawaiian port talks are always available.
Planning and organizing activities for kids is a full time daily occurrence onboard each of the distinctive cruise ships. Well-trained counselors staff the children’s programs; age-appropriate activities range from parties and video arcades to kid-friendly learning sessions. There are teen centers, discos and kids’ pools too making the cruise ships phenomenally kid-friendly.
