<description>We just completed a 7-day on Pride of Hawaii w/ 24 other friends/family. The islands are beautiful, but NCL needs to get it's act together if I were to ever sail with them again. Most lugage was extremely late in getting to all of us due to the fact that most of the handlers did not show up to work. Shore excursions were either cancelled (not one e-mail beforehand) or times changed. All this was even before we left port! The bath towel order was 5000 short, so getting towels, and those cute animals, was not the easiest. 200 crew members short made housekeeping, and bartending very difficult. Some cabins had everything they were supposed to have, 6 of our travel partners had no coffee pot, could not open the minibars, and had no soap! The service we had by all the food servers and bar people was excellent, in fact we asked and got the servers we wanted in La Bistro. Tony at the bar by the pool is the best. Juan at the Champagne bar is great.
If everyone was told about all the shortages, including no limes for drinks one day, everyone would have understood, and not complained, at least not so much. I do believe that the dining (speciality) resverations MUST be allowed to be done on-line before we get aboard. The system now is awful. Calling everyday is difficult, long and frustrating.
